The Vermont Curriculum

The Curriculum

At Vermont School, we implement a two-tiered curriculum to support our children’s academic achievement and their social and emotional development.

Our Marlyn Curriculum supports children’s resilience to being in the classroom, their social skills, and their emotional literacy. It develops their skills to be able to access learning opportunities and enable them to make progress towards the next stage in their lives.

We use the International Primary Curriculum as the basis for our academic learning to develop children’s interest, engagement and achievements and to foster a love of learning.

These two curriculums are planned hand in hand to provide a curriculum which supports our children’s needs as well as providing them with the skills they require to be successful in life.
