PARENT DROP INS
Parent Drop Ins have become extremely popular.
Living with a child with a disability, especially an 'invisible disability', can be isolating, challenging and lonely. You feel that no one understands the difficulties that you face. These drop-ins could provide you with the opportunity to feel less isolated by listening to others in a similar situation to yourself.
Miss Gerrard, our Parent Liaison Officer and Mrs Richman from our Pastoral Team provide friendly, helpful advice, sometimes focussing on specific topics and sometimes allowing parents to share their experiences, questions and concerns over a cuppa and a biscuit! It's a non-threatening, relaxed environment where you can meet other parents from the school community who are experiencing similar situations to you.
Join us, even if it is to just sit and listen.
We are in the process of getting these up and running again, Lacey will be sending out dates and times for these shortly.
