Sport Premium – How we are using the money

 

The Sport Premium is an additional amount of money given to schools in addition to their main budget.  Every school receives a fixed amount of money for each pupil.  The money is provided to schools so that we can improve the provision of PE and sport and to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.    

 

We must report to you the level of Sport Premium, how we have used it and what difference it has made.  This year, the school received £16,254 in Sport Premium. 

 

Vermont school will plan for sustained improvement against the following 5 key indicators:

  1. Increase the engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity.
  2. The profile of PE and sport is raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement.
  3. Develop staff’s confidence, knowledge and skills in PE and Sport.
  4. Broader experience of a range of sports and physical activities offered to all pupils.
  5. Increase participation in competitive sport.
