As a specialist school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, we recognise that progress can take many forms. We therefore use a range of assessment approaches to capture and celebrate both academic achievement and personal development.

Assessment helps us to:

We use B Squared assessment frameworks, teacher assessment and EHCP outcomes to build a complete picture of each pupil's progress. Assessment information is reviewed regularly throughout the year and helps us ensure that every child receives the right support, at the right time.
