Parent Governor Vacancies


We have two vacancies for parent governors which we need to fill as soon as possible.


As valued members of the team, Parent Governors ensure the views of parents are taken into account, and help us work to improve the school's performance for the benefit of all of our children.

The governing board's main tasks are:

  1. To ensure that the school has a clear vision, ethos and strategic direction;
  2. To hold the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils;
  3. To oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure its money is well spent.

Training and support will be available for the role which includes attending 2 board meetings per term, reading the papers for meetings, and other visits to the school to see how plans and strategies are being implemented.

If you feel you can help, please email for an application form which will need to be completed and returned to the school by 12.00 noon on 1st July 2022.

Please note that for the protection of children all Governors are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check.

If there are more applications than vacancies, we will hold an election and you will be sent a voting paper in due course. You may return the ballot paper either via your child or by post.
